About the Project:

Elkhorn, Nebraska  Golf Creations renovated the Black Bird Nine at this 27-hole public facility on the outskirts of Omaha, NE, which included rebuilding the existing bunkering and re-grassing the courses poa annua infested greens. Prior to re-grassing, GC worked along with the course’s crew to quickly prepare the putting surfaces and surrounds to ensure they were ready for the hot-gas fumigation. The bunkers were rebuilt, with some relocated, others eliminated and all receiving new drainage and protective liners. The result is a dramatically new look, quality playing surfaces, and a huge marketing boon for the course.
