About the Project:

Libertyville, Illinois  This 18-hole private club was the vision of owner Bert Getz who sought to preserve the scenic and natural terrain that was characteristic of the region. During construction, Golf Creations took special precautions to preserve and enhance the wetland areas and incorporate them into the beauty of the course. Pockets of native prairie grasses were also planted to frame and define golf features, while maintaining a natural feel. The award-winning layout is a model of environmental sensitivity:
